Pull into the ground position

basic defense posture while choking: Chin to chest / Pull up shoulders / Tense neck muscles

  • Initial situation
    • Headlock from behind;
      The aggressor is next to the defender and both looking in the same direction

  • Loosen grip
    • Tense neck, chin to the chest, Pull up shoulders
    • The aggressor distant arm grips the strangling arm and pulls it down greatly

  • Defense technique
    Pull into the ground position by pressure on the philtrum
    • The aggressor near arm grips from behind on the philtrum und ...
    • ... presses the aggressor backwards, at the same time ...
    • ... push the other arm under the strangling arm and ...
    • ... support the fall of the aggressor by pressure / strike

  • Completion
    • go on distance or ...
    • ... fixation in the ground

Strangle attacks pose a threat to life, they are consistent, timely and hard to fend off!
