The heel strike downwards is very well suited for use as a final technique, when the aggressor is in the ground. The technique can be used both as a stomp downwards (the defender is standing) and also as a heel strike, when the defender is located in the soil. Targets of strikes (kicks) with the heel should be as a priority Kyushopoints and joints, such as against the solar plexus, the Inguinal canal, the knee and the foot of the aggressor. Tamped kicks (Fumikomi) on the dorsum of the foot are ideally designed as a solvent technique for clinches. |
