Te kubi garami - Hand flexor lever

Effect:

Static execution:
After rotation of the arm, lever with the palm facing to the inside of the forearm

Comment:
By pulling at the wrist the arm is stretched (opened) and under continuous pulling down and back, bending the palm of the hand at the wrist of the aggressor to the inner forearm. The little fingers are on the inner wrist and the thumb or thumbs (at ambidextrous execution) exert pressure on the metatarsophalangeal joints. While the lever movement the pulling backwards and below persists.

The hand flexor lever is very versatile and can be used effectively. It can be used as a fixing, lifting and transport technique. It offers itself as well to enforce the release, for example, of a weapon (stick, knife). In this case, the flexion of the hand can be done by a strike (hammer fist, forearm, etc.).
