Kote gaeshi - Hand tilt lever

Effect:

Static execution:
Bending the palm to the inside of the forearm and twisting the hand to the radius side

Comment:
The Hand tilt lever is a lever which affects the wrist. It corresponds to the approach of the hand flexor lever (Te kubi garami) with an additional twist of the wrist to the side.

Prior to the approach of the lever technique, an outward rotation of the arm is necessary; for inward rotation, this technique is not applicable. Here the Hand twist flexor lever (Kuzure kote gaeshi) is to choose . After the hand is bent at the wrist, a rotation of the hand in the direction of the spoke is carried out (outward rotation). The aggressor will brought down by the rotation.

Kote gaeshi is suitable for fast and effective defense of various attacks, with priority at contact attacks. The technique provides an effective way to bring the aggressor to the ground rapidly.
