Kote mawashi irimi - Hand locking lever

Effect:

Static execution:
Lever the back of the hand to the outside of the forearm

Comment:
The hand locking lever ist he counterpart of the hand flexor lever (Te kubi garami). At the hand flexor lever, the wrist is levered by diffraction (palm to the inner forearm - flexion), but here the back of the hand is pressed to the outward forearm (stretching).

The hand locking lever is outstandingly suitable as a defense at contacted attacks; gripping hair, clothes grips at the collar and others. The attacking hand of the aggressor is fixed on the own body and by bending the upper body and pulling backwards, the lever acts. Other variants of the hand locking lever are also possible (see picture 3).
