Ashi gatame - leg control
UKE is "on all fours", where he supports himself on his knees and toes and on his palms. TORI, is located on the left side of UKE, both are looking in the same direction.
TORI:
- places his left knee on the floor;
- pushes his right leg, from the inside around UKE's left arm;
- grasps with his left hand from behind UKE's left wrist and with his right hand a little higher up the forearm;
- he angled his right knee to pinch the arm of UKE in his popliteal;
- and finish the lever technique by pulling the wrist of UKE upwards;
COMMENT:
TORI's Type of grip of his hands on the wrist or arm of UKE must be done from the rear and not from the side.
