Median nerve
[Nervus medianus]
Anatomy:
- The median nerve [Nervus medianus] is a nerve of the peripheral nervous system. It arises from the arm braid [Plexus brachialis]. It runs from the armpit on the inside of the upper arm and then draws under the Musculus pronator teres to the palm side of the forearm. The median nerve provides motor innervation, the majority of the flexor muscles of the forearm. It is also responsible for the transmission of sensitive stimulation of the palm from the thumb to the inside of the ring finger.
Attack:
- Pliers grip, pressure with thumbs under the biceps tendon
Consequence:
- The result is a massive nerve pain (neuralgia)
Comment:
- Clothing and strong muscles reduces the efficiency
