Cheek nerve
[Nervus buccalis]
Anatomy:
- The cheek nerve [nervus buccalis] is highly sensitive and supplies the mucous membrane of the cheek and the gum.
Attack:
- Pincer grip; Technique is good to bring the attacker in the groundFist strike (Ken ate)
Consequence:
- At pressure or shock, a massive nerve pain (neuralgia) arises
Comment:
- An appropriate counter pressure; e.g. with the other hand on the back of the head, will be useful
