Nose angle
[Philtrum]
Anatomy:
- The philtrum is the vertical groove referred in the anatomy, that draws down from the nose to the middle of the upper lip. It arises during embryonic development by the coalescence of the facial skin.
Attack:
- Knuckle (Kobushi ate), Handedge strike (Tegatana ate) or pressure with the side of the hand or thumbThe pressure technique is good to bring the attacker in the ground
Consequence:
- At striking techniques ruptured upper lip, dental injuries, fracture of the maxilla; At pressure a massive nerve pain (neuralgia) arises
Comment:
- Beware of bites by the attacker; can be combined with pressure on the eyes
