Chin protrusion

[Protuberantia mentalis]

Anatomy:

• Chin is known as the lower front of the face in the area of the lower jaw, which is supported by the mental protuberance and the mutual lateral tubercles of the mandible. The mental protuberance is a triangular bone survey on the outside of the lower jaw.

Attack:

• Ankle pressure, Knuckle (Kobushi ate) or fist strike (Ken ate)

Consequence:

• Great pain due to the very sensitive periosteum; At shock, fracture of the mandible

Comment:

• At pressure technique can only be used as a temporary release technique; at shock, beware of injury to yourself
