UKE is in an upright position, with provided right foot forward or he comes up to TORI. It is almost the same as when Tomoe nage throw approach, but in this case the right leg of TORI remains between the legs of UKE.
TORI, has forced the UKE by train with his left arm to make with the right leg a step forward, amplifies this train, by gripping with his right hand on UKE's left shoulder. The aim of this double train is to tilt UKE to the left side of TORI. The balance of UKE is thereby disturbed to the right front.
At the same time TORI blocks UKE's left leg with his right leg laterally outward at the level of the ankle, while UKE's inner left thigh is raised by TORI’s right instep. During this movement to the rear TORI drops down. It is this upward movement of TORI's right leg, which brings UKE to turn to the side. UKE falls through the hands of the train and the pressure of TORI's right leg laterally forwards. The trajectory of UKE is essential more lateral than at Tomoe nage.
Usage: At grips from the front or even a headlock technique from the front, this technique can be used successfully. Disadvantages here are, as in all Sutemi waza, the transition of the defender into the bottom layer. Optionally, the shoe tip can be used instead of the instep. The inside of the thighs is extremely sensitive.
